Yeah... Long Live RMS!!! ;) One problem... RMS only seems to be active in Holland, so no point in calling it RMS
True, but i see it more as an gathering, an rememberanceday.
For fellow Moluccans sharing the same thing:
Our grandparents, for some of us our parents being screwed by the Dutch gouverment back then.
Brought to Holland because if they would stay there it would'nt be safe for them. ( they were fighting against the indos in the royal dutch army, cuz the dutch gouverment promised to help them to get independent..a real RMS )
And don't think they ended up in luxurious spa resorts.
They've been put in former transportationcamps they used in WWII for the jews.
And in the 50's for my grandfather and other moluccan soldiers, small barracks for big families.
Isolated from Dutch society..
They said: " its only temporary".. right...that temporary thing lasted more than 18 years, before they moved to normal houses.
55 years further ,don't think any of the promises have been made true...
So for me its more a rememberanceday of how they screwed my grandfather...
And for Moluccans one thing is very important you dont mess arround with keluarga and saudara ( family)
