Matisyahu Last Night..

First time i saw Matisyahu, that was on tv the box (music television you control).
It was at night and i just smoked a joint, i thought am i tripping on my joint. Is that really what i think it is? Nahhh impossible they dont do that, they pray at the Kotel all day.
But no i wasnt tripping on my joint.
He is a real hasidic jew.


Last night the melkweg was sold out, about 1000 people waiting for him.
Like a real star he came fashionable late.
After a long but very very cool intro played by his band, he appeared on stage. ( 30 minutes later than anounced).
Girls screaming like real groupies, trying to grab his hand, but i think they were forgetting 1 thing.
Hasidic jews dont have any physical contact with other ladies.. ( handshaking, etc..)
But for a hasidic jew he really rocks!
Just close ur eyes and you think he's from jamaica.
And i also have to give some credit for his band, they really rock!
They played very good, the solos..everything!
I had a great view from the balcony nobody infront of me( thats always my problem with my 5'2 at concerts), seeing matisyahu jumping from 1 side to the other.
Like i said before he really rocks.
I was surrounded by all kinds of people, parents with their 15 year old kid, rastafari people, boys with kippahs..all kinds..

Everybody went crazy when he played his song king without a crown.
The vibe was so good that after he finished.. literally all 1000 people were screaming, we want more we..want more..
And he came back and played 2 more songs..
Only 1 girl next to me couldnt make the last two songs, she passed out and had to be taken outside..(I think she smoked too much)..
People if you ever have the change to see him live go and see.. you wont regret it.
I know i didnt!
